The eye-tracking laboratory is equipped with two PCs (one laptop) and one Tobii Pro X3-120 Eye-Tracker (Tobii Technology, Stockholm, Sweden). This device is a stand-alone eye-tracker with a sampling rate of 120Hz. It can be used in various setups, for example mounted on a laptop, a PC monitor, an all-in-one PC, or even a tablet.
The Tobii Pro X3–120 is very compact and light weight. For its characteristics, it represents a useful and unobtrusive tool for detailed research in human behavior. It is specifically designed for studies aimed at determining precisely where the participants are looking and measuring eye fixations and other eye-tracking metrics based on these. It offers maximum flexibility with numerous software and stimuli set-up options. The Tobii Pro X3-120’s large head movement box allows the participant to move during recording while maintaining accuracy and precision.
The equipment of the laboratory represents an ideal solution also for data collection with young participants inside the lab and outside, in the real context of primary and secondary schools.
